Beauty Blender, how to use it? and is it really worth the buy?

Updated: Sep 10, 2021

The ability to get back to shape even after so much squeezing is something phenomenal, any other makeup sponge doesn’t do that, but Beauty Blender does it right.

By all means, this is definitely worth all the hype and a beauty blender is a must for all makeup lovers, but how do you really use it?

Let’s see how?

1. Get the perfect base

Brushes are great but beauty blender are better if you master it.

It won’t matter as much, because you’ll almost always have a flawless finish with it. Whether you are using a matte finish foundation or otherwise, it’s a task too easy for this makeup sponge.

It’s most likely because of the way the sponge works. It is activated by water, so you have to wet it first.

Choose a good quality beauty blender and it will help you absorb less product.

2. Conceal with the beauty blender

It could be the porous material that it’s made out of. Even thicker, heavier products are easy to blend with the Beauty Blender such as what is evident when using a concealer. Concealers usually have a higher amount of pigment on them and even with concealers that set quickly, one can see how easy it is for the sponge to blend in the makeup.

3. Blush and Bake

Picking up powder products is not a problem for the Beauty Blender. It can easily pick up loose or compact powder for application on the skin. Many professional makeup artists use this to “bake”. It effectively does the job; it also picks up more products to deposit on the skin which actually cuts time. Not only does it effectively does the job but it also does it efficiently.
